July Self Defense Classes

In July, CIPF hosted two more self-defense classes and helped about sixty new people learn how to defend themselves. We partnered with two local police departments to put on these classes. We had one class in Westfield with the help of the Westfield Police Department and another class in Plainfield with the help of the Plainfield Police Department.

Our goal with providing these classes was to serve new areas and people. We are hoping to have more classes in other locations in the future. Bud Lich taught these classes, as he did with the first one back in April. People in these classes learned about the self-defense mindset, different blocks, and releases, and more. We had our vendor, Damsel in Defense, at these classes also which had a variety of personal protection devices for sale.

These classes would not have been possible without the sponsorship of Beech Grove Firearms and the help of the Westfield and Plainfield police departments.

Keep an eye out on our social media channels for potential future classes.
