IMPD Officer Mike Kermon Charity Ride

On February 18, 2022, Officer Michael Kermon was involved in a near fatal car accident while on his way to work. Officer Kermon was a member of the Indianapolis Police Department’s 95th Recruit class and would have been entering his 25th year of service to the City of Indianapolis today. The accident left Michael with cognitive impairment and physical limitations which no longer allow him to perform the duties this public servant has poured his heart and soul into. Michael is also a proud, 4-year veteran of the United States Navy, following in his late father’s footsteps. When not serving the citizens of Indianapolis, Michael enjoyed wind therapy on his Harley and participating in Tribal ceremonies to proudly honor his Native American heritage.
