1. Two weeks prior to a scheduled board meeting, the Organization should submit
    • CCIPF Grant Application
    • Details and timing for use of funds
    • 501(c)3 Determination Letter
    • Most recent 990
    • Budget
  2. The board will consider proposals up to $10,000 with most grants falling between $2,500 and $5,000.
    • Requests that align with the CCIPF mission and are $1,000 or less can be approved by the Executive Director, without board approval, up to an annual limit of $5,000 (cumulative).
    • Requests over $1,000 will be reviewed by the Grants Committee and recommended to the Board of Directors.
    • The Board of Directors will vote on that recommendation during the regularly scheduled board meeting.
      • If there is an urgent request, it may be approved by the Executive Committee.
  3. Primary focus for consideration will be youth-focused activities which promote positive youth-law enforcement relationships
  4. The Foundation will not consider grants for international activities, academic research, sectarian purposes, or programs that promote religious doctrine or political campaigns.
  5. Board meeting dates for 2019 are:
    • April 10
    • July 10
    • October 09
    • December 12

  • Submit this signed grant application with narrative and attachments at least two weeks prior to CIPF Board Meeting. A cover letter is not required.
