More than half of Carmel SWAT’s deployments occur at night. Modern IR devices help officers:

Communicate visually using infrared laser technology
Identify hazards, people, and key locations more quickly
Improve coordination during complex operations
Much of Carmel SWAT’s current night vision equipment is more than two decades old or consists of older, loaned technology that no longer provides the performance today’s missions require.
