Behind The Line Fund

Relationships between police and the community

Building more positive, meaningful relationships between the police and the community is key to addressing current and future public safety concerns. In addition to addressing crime, police officers across the community engage and volunteer in programs that help build trust and understanding between youth, the community and police.

From helping with Shop with A Cop®–a program that provides holiday assistance and mentoring opportunities for at-risk youth—to Special Olympics to Community Days, the Central Indiana Police Foundation strongly believes that the key to sustainable crime prevention and public safety solutions is engaging law enforcement with the community.

CIPF is proud to partner with the Pacers Foundation to help distribute funding designated to building strong relationships between our youth and police.  If you have project ideas on how to better engage police officers and community members, especially youth, please contact our Executive Director at 317.536.1402.  To make a tax-deductible contribution to the BEHIND THE LINE Fund, use the secure form below.
